CARE AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION
: Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet before disassembling it before cleaning. Always
ensure that water does not enter the ventilation slots at the bottom of the base.
When using hard water, mineral deposits and white deposits can form, which can settle on surrounding
objects and furniture. To avoid this, we advise:
• use boiled or distilled water;
• clean the water tank at least once a week;
• if used frequently, change the water in the tank once a day.
Cleaning the water tank
a) remove the water tank;
b) unscrew the cap and flush the water valve;
c) Add a mild detergent or vinegar-based cleaner to a tank half full of water;
d) put the plug back in place and shake the tank to clean it thoroughly;
e) unscrew the plug and drain the contents;
f) Repeat if necessary, then rinse by repeating this process with fresh water;
g) You can also use a descaling and hard water solution suitable for use on plastic surfaces to
clean the tank;
h) wipe all parts with a soft cloth;
i) let the parts dry;
j) Re-assemble the humidifier.
Attention! Do not use abrasive substances, chemical solvents not suitable for plastic care,
kerosene or gasoline when cleaning the device. Do not use hard or sharp objects to clean the
humidifier.
Cleaning the ultrasonic membrane
a) use a soft brush to gently clean the ultrasonic membrane;
b) rinse with clean warm water (no higher than 40 ° C);
c) Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
d) If hard water deposits need to be removed, add a few drops of descaling solution to
the membrane, leave for 2-5 minutes, and then brush and rinse.
Attention! Do not use detergent to clean parts of the base of the device that come into contact
with water, as a film of detergent can interfere with the operation of the humidifier.
