3.6.3.2.1.5 PPPoE routed
Description:
Give a name for this connection.
VPI/VCI:
Enter the information provided by your ISP.
NAT:
The NAT feature allows multiple users to access the Internet through a single IP
account, sharing the single IP address. If users in the LAN site have public IP
addresses and can access the Internet directly, the NAT function can be disabled.
Username:
Enter the username provided by your ISP. You can input up to
128
alphanumeric characters (case sensitive).
Password:
Enter the password provided by your ISP. You can input up to
128
alphanumeric characters (case sensitive).
Service Name:
This item is for identification purpose. If it is required, your ISP will
provide you the information. Maximum input is
20
alphanumeric characters.
Use the following IP address:
If your ISP gives you a fixed IP address through PPPoE,
input the IP address on this field.

PPPoE connection:
This item provides 2 options.

Always on:
if you want to establish a PPPoE session when starting up. It will
also automatically re-establish the PPPoE session when disconnected by the ISP.

Connect to Demand:
if you want to establish a PPPoE session only when there
is a packet requesting access to the Internet.
User Idle Timeout (in minutes)
: Auto-disconnect the broadband firewall gateway when
there is no activity on the line for a predetermined period of time. Input 0 if you do not
want to have idle timeout.
