1. Remove the content, wrap in several layers of newspaper and store in a cooling box or a
cool place.
2. Switch off the appliance by turning the thermostat to OFF

and disconnect it from the
mains.
3. Place a container at the water outlet to collect the melt water.
4. Open the water outlet.
5. Drain the defrost water via the water outlet.
6. Wipe and dry the appliance (in- and outside) and door seals using dry and soft cloths.
7. After cleaning leave the door open for a while to aerate the appliance.
8. Switch on the appliance and let it operate in the FAST FREEZING MODE for approx.
3 hours.
5.2 Replacing of the illuminant
WARNING! The LED-illuminant (depending on model) must be replaced by a
competent person only. If the LED-illuminant is damaged, please contact a qualified pro-
fessional.
