Setting of the time of the day
When you have connected the appliance to the mains for the first time, you have to
set the time of the day before initial operation.
1.
Enter the manual operation mode (see above).
2.
Press the M
ANUAL

BUTTON
(12) once to set the time of the day. While the
DECIMAL DOT
(9) is flashing, you can set the time using the P
LUS
(11) and
M
INUS
(13)-
BUTTONS
.
3.
When the current time of the day is displayed, release the Plus and M
INUS
-
BUTTONS
and wait a few seconds. The
DECIMAL DOT
(9) stops flashing. The
appliance is ready for operation now.
The timer
1. Minute-minder function
Using the programming unit you can set a desired countdown-time. When the set
time has elapsed, an acoustic signal will sound.
1.
Press the M

(12) twice. The
DECIMAL DOT
(9) begins to flash
and the
MINUTE
-
MINDER SYMBOL
(10) on the display goes on (indication 00:00).

Set the countdown-time using the P

3.
The maximum adjustable countdown-time is 23 hours and 59 minutes
4.
Release the P
LUS
and M
INUS
-
BUTTONS
as soon as the desired countdown-time
is indicated on the display. The countdown will begin immediately.

The
MINUTE
-
MINDER SYMBOL
remains on the display, so you can see that the
countdown-time is elapsing
6.
After a few seconds the display will indicate the time of the day again.
7.
At the end of the countdown-time an acoustic signal sounds and the
OVEN
-
IN
-
USE SYMBOL
goes out. The acoustic signal sounds for 7 minutes before it stops.
You can switch off the acoustic signal by pressing any of the programming unit
buttons.
8.
If the oven is in use while operating the minute minder function, the oven
WILL NOT be switched off at the end of the countdown-time. YOU
MUST turn the oven function rotary knob and the oven temperature
rotary knob to their OFF positions.
