Wireless communication channel configuration
Wireless communication between NET250 devices takes place on
seleced channels. Normally device with default settings uses for
communication the channel n°1. However, it is possi ble to select a
different channel (from 1 to 7) to create independent wireless
communication nets, each one operating on a different channel.
Wireless channel modification is made through HyperTerminal
Windows program, following this procedure:
Start program from Windows start menu
Start
All programs
Accessories
Communications
HyperTerminal
and assign a name to the new connection (for example: “NET250”).
After that, select serial port to which NET250 will be connected (in the
example COM6) and confirm.
