No Picture
• HD MediaBox is not plugged in
• HD MediaBox has not been
switched on using the Remote
Control.
• USB>PC cable is still connected
• Video cables are not connected
• Your display is not capable of
accepting a 480p signal.
• Check power cable is connected
as per section 3.1. And that a
green light is showing on the front
panel of HD MediaBox.
• Ensure that the USB>PC cable
is disconnected before starting
HD MediaBox
• Ensure the correct video cables
are connected between the display
device and HD MediaBox (see
section 4.1
).
• Check that your display is capable of
accepting a 480p signal. If it is not,
follow the instructions in
section
10.1
to change the video output.
Network not working
• Ethernet cable is not connected
• Wrong network type selected
• IP address settings incorrect
• No shared folders or drives
available on your network
• Check the network cable is
plugged in on both HD MediaBox
and your network hub. A link light
should show up on HD MediaBox
if the cable is connected correctly.
• Refer to
section 5.4.5
to check
your IP settings in the Network
settings page.
• Make sure that you have setup at
least one shared folder or drive on
your network and that it is not
password protected.
HD MediaBox cannot
obtain IP Address
• DHCP server not running
• Ensure that there is a server or
device that acts as a DHCP server
on your network if you have set
DHCP in the IP Setting menu.
Remote Control not working
• No batteries, or batteries are flat.
• Infra Red Receiver on HD
MediaBox is obstructed
• Ensure that there are 2 AAA size
batteries in the Remote Control
and they are inserted correctly
(see
section 3.2
).
• Replace the batteries
• Ensure that the front panel of HD
MediaBox is not obstructed by any
objects and that you are pointing
the Remote Control directly at HD
MediaBox.
