Underhållsavstängningsventilen lämnas i öppet läge.
Slangen får inte lämnas trycksatt.
OBS! När
slangrullen
inte
används
ska
avstängningsventilen stå i stängt läge, och rullen och
slangen ska vara trycklösa.
ENGLISH
Hose reel and reel cabinet installation
To install the cabinet:
Lift the reel out of the cabinet to facilitate installation. There are alternative
lead-throughs for a Ø35mm pipe at the side and/or bottom of the cabinet.
Select a suitable lead-through and hit a hole through it.
Check the straightness and loadbearing capacity of the wall. Use at least
Ø8mm screws. Fix the top screws at a height of approximately 1,700mm
from the floor. Hang the cabinet from the screws and fix the lower screws.
Check that the cabinet is straight.
Flush mounting:
The opening of the wall cavity should be approximately 10mm bigger than
the cabinet – for example, a 690x690mm cabinet needs a 700x700mm
opening. If the cabinet includes a flush mounting frame, install the cabinet
in the cavity and then install the frame.
Connection:
Install the shut-off valve on the inlet pipe and fix the hose coupling on the
valve. Lift the reel in place and fix the delivery hose to the valve with a
hose clamp. Check that there are no folds in the hose.
Wall-mounting the reel:
Check the straightness and loadbearing capacity of the wall. Set the top
edge of the wall-mounting plate (or swinging bracket) on the wall
approximately at a height of 1,500mm from the floor. Use at least Ø8mm
screws.
Fix the hose guide in a suitable spot approximately 330–350mm off and
330–350mm below the centre of the installation plate. Lift the reel onto the
installation plate. Install the jet nozzle and hose through the hose guide onto
the bracket.
Connect the feed pipe or hose to the shut-off valve. Connect the water
supply to the shut-off valve.
Pillar hydrant/jet nozzle cabinet installation:
Install the jet nozzle cabinet firmly onto the pillar or wall at a handling
height (approx.1200...1400mm
).
Firmly fix the reel installation plate onto its base. Use at least Ø8mm
screws. The installation height of the hose reel varies on a case-by-case
basis. Take the height into consideration in the length of the hose and, if
necessary, install an intermediate hose guide.
Lift the reel onto the installation plate and install a connecting pipe between
the jet nozzle cabinet and the reel. Connect the water supply to the other
pipe connection of the jet nozzle cabinet (Cu 28).
After installation:
Test tightness
(all models except reels with an automatic valve PV-23A)
Open the shut-off valve and fill the hose by letting out water, e.g. into a
bucket. Carefully open the jet nozzle. When the hose is full, close the jet
nozzle and check the tightness of the reel core, hose and connections. It is
recommended to roll the hose completely off the reel to ensure tightness.
Once tightness has been ensured, close the shut-off valve and depressurise
the hose by opening the jet nozzle slightly. Leave the hose on the reel
unpressurised and filled with water, so that it is ready to use.
You should not leave the shut-off valve open or the hose pressurised.
Test tightness PV-23A
(reels with an automatic valve)
Open the maintenance shut-off valve and pull a couple of metres of hose off
the reel so that the reel turns at least one full circle. The automatic shut-off
valve of the reel is now open. Fill the hose by letting out water, e.g. into a
bucket and carefully open the jet nozzle.
When the hose is full, close the jet nozzle and check the tightness of the reel
core, hose and connections. It is recommended to roll the hose completely
off the reel to ensure tightness.
Once you have ensured tightness, reel the hose back in on the reel to close
the automatic shut-off valve.
Open the jet nozzle slightly and depressurise the hose. Leave the hose on
the reel unpressurised and filled with water, so that it is ready to use. Leave
the maintenance shut-off valve open.
Do not leave the hose pressurised.
NB! When the hose reel is not in use, the shut-off valve
should be closed, and the reel and hose should be
unpressurised.
