Epic Buffer with TNT (Y574)
The Buffer with TNT module can twist folded collations 180° to the required orientation for the chassis.
Description
The Y574 Epic Buffer with TNT includes:
l
An integrated Servo 8 Stage Buffer that transports and stages collations from the folder output to
the Twist No Twist (TNT)
l
Hand-off station that transfers the collations to the chassis
l
No Change Over module option (requires flats key, a chargeable item)
Standard Features
The Y574 Buffer with TNT is designed for the Epic platform and includes:
l
Buffers and synchronizes the collated material to optimize the performance of the input.
l
The 8 Stage Buffer stages finished collations and subsequently reduce the number of dry cycles
per hour depending on the collation size, thus optimize chassis utilization.
l
When activated, the TNT module twists the collated material 180 degree.
l
When not activated, the collation passes through the TNT.
l
TNT job setup is done through the Direct Connect operating system.
l
The module operates at speeds of - 21,000 cycles per hour in tri-fold mode, 18,000 cycles per hour
in half-fold mode, and 14,000 cycles per hour in flat mode.
