Envelope Separator

To remove jams in the envelope separator:

 1.  Pull the lever towards you to release the spring tension on the separator roller.

 (The separator is 

spring loaded, so hold the lever with one hand and reach in with the other hand.)

Separator Lever 

 2.  Remove the jam.

 3.  Release the lever to engage the separator.
