Removing Material Jams in the Friction Feeder

There are three areas in the friction feeder where jams may occur:

Feeder deck

Separator bridge

Transport

Feeder Deck

To remove jams from the friction feeder deck:

1. Pull out the locking pin and lift up the feeder slowly until the pin latches in.

2. Remove the jam.

3. Close the feeder.

Separator Bridge

To remove jams from the separator bridge:
