When  using  an  electric  appliance,  basic  precautions  should  always  be 
followed, including the following:

VACUUM

 

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:

This product is designed for domestic use only. 

Ø

Do not charge this unit outdoors. 

Ø

Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used 
near children, pets or plants. 

Ø

The appliance is not intended for use by young  children  or  infirm  persons 
without supervision. 

Ø

Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the 
appliance. 

Ø

Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If unit is not working as it should, has 
been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or immersed into water, return it to 
the distributor before continuing use. If the charger cord is damaged, it must 
be replaced by the manufacturer or a similarly  qualified  person  to  avoid  a 
hazard.

Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on the cord, 
or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. 

Ø

To disconnect charger from outlet, do not pull from cord, instead grasp the 
charger and pull. 

Ø

Keep cord away from heated surfaces. 

Ø

Do  not  use  extension  cords  or  outlets  with  inadequate  current  carrying 
capacity. 

Ø

Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands or attempt to vacuum liquids. 

Ø

Do  not  insert  any  objects  into  openings.    Do  not  use  with  any  opening 
blocked.  Keep  free  of  dust,  lint,  hair  and  anything  that  may  reduce  the 
airflow. 

Ø

Do not vacuum over anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, 
matches or hot ashes. 

Ø

Do not attempt to change accessories while unit is running. 

Ø

This product includes rechargeable 2000mA nickel metal hydride batteries. 
Do  not  incinerate  batteries  or  expose  to  high  temperatures,  as  they  may 
explode. 

Ø

Leaks  from  battery  cells  can  occur  under  extreme  conditions.  If  leaking 
occurs  do  not  touch  battery  and  cease  use  immediately.  Contact  your 
distributor for further instructions. 

Ø

Do not remove batteries from unit, unless disposing of the appliance. 

Ø

Nickel Metal Hydride batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly. 

Ø

Charge battery with original charger only. 

Ø

Store your vacuum indoors in a cool, dry area. 

Ø

Keep your work area well lighted. 

Ø

Use  only  as  described  in  this  manual.  Use  only  manufacturer’s 
recommended accessories.
