Head unit
1 TA button
This button is only available on the head
unit.
Press to turn traffic announcements func-
tion on or off.
2 VOLUME
When you press VOLUME , it extends out-
ward so that it becomes easier to turn. To re-
tract VOLUME , press it again. Rotate to
increase or decrease the volume.
3 A (audio) button
Press to select various sound quality con-
trols.
4 a / b / c / d buttons
When controlling sources
! These buttons can perform the same op-
eration as m / n / o / p / r / q but-
tons on the remote control. Press to do
manual seek tuning, fast forward, re-
verse, track search and folder select con-
trols.
When controlling functions
! These buttons can perform the same op-
eration as r / q / m / n buttons on
the remote control.
5 OPEN button
This button is only available on the head
unit.
Press to open the front panel.
6 BAND button
Press to select among three FM and MW/
LW bands and cancel the control mode of
functions.
7 EQ-EX button
This button is only available on the head
unit.
Press and hold to switch between EQ-EX
and SFEQ functions. Press to operate each
function.
8 F (function) button
Press to select functions.
9 1 6 buttons
These buttons can perform the same opera-
tion as NUMBER (1 6) buttons on the re-
mote control. Press for preset tuning and
disc number search when using a multi-CD/
DVD player.
a DISPLAY button
This button is only available on the head
unit.
Press to select different displays.
