AV Unit (Basic Audio Signal Path)
All Audio inputs enter IC1301 the AV selector switch except Tuner 1 and 2 audio IF
signals. IC2501 has a built in TV audio IF demodulator for the two tuner inputs. The
selector IC1301 separates the right and left channel selected outputs for main and
sub-audio. The audio signals from IC1301 enter IC2501 the Sound Processor and this
IC selects the proper output to be sent out on the system cable to the plasma display
and the monitor output jacks. IC2501 and IC1301 both receive switching information
from IC1 the Main system microprocessor. Audio output to the plasma display is
Analog in this system.
