• With DAC (Digital Accurate Control) attenuator
Attenuation is achieved by switching trimmed high-precision resistors. There is no gang error
between the right and left channels, nor is there any increased impedance resulting from the
position of the attenuator, as is seen in conventional types. S/N is maximised and separation is
minimised.
In dual and bridge modes the DAC attenuator functions as a volume control, and in separate mode
as an attenuator (0 to -15 dB, in 0.5 dB steps). In either case, it facilitates adjustment in 31 stages.
• Hybrid brass stay construction
Highly rigid hybrid brass stays with high specific gravity impart greatly increased rigidity to the
chassis, permitting it to retain a power supply transformer, electrolytic capacitor, heat sink and
similar heavy items.
