How to enter test mode
1) Immediately after pressing the ON/OFF button on the remote control, simultaneously press the NAVI and OK
keys.
2) Release the keys once the password entry screen appears.
3) Press the following keys in this order: TALK
→
-
→
+
→ ×
.
4) When all four screen boxes have turned white, press the OK key on the remote control.
5) The test mode menu screen appears.

Directions for use and functions
Items on the on-screen menu can be selected by joystick.
1. C.C. check
· Checks the memory of the car computer section within the main unit.
· Insert an ordinary disc.
· Following selection, check will be carried out automatically.
· Any sections that are corrupted will be displayed.
· Press the ON/OFF button on the remote control to complete the procedure.
2. GPS evaluation system
· For factory use only
3. Clear SRAM drive for APPL.
· SRAM data being used in an application will be forcibly deleted.
· Press the ON/OFF button on the remote control to complete the procedure.
4. Clear SRAM for BIOS
· SRAM data being used by system software will be forcibly deleted.
· Press the ON/OFF button on the remote control to complete the procedure.
5. Clear SRAM for GPS
· SRAM data being used by GPS will be forcibly deleted
· Press the ON/OFF button on the remote control to complete the procedure.
6. Check CD-ROM read
· For factory use only
7. Display error info.
· Displays information on errors from the last occurring to the previous eight .
· Error information is chosen and displayed using the - key for the next error and the + key for the
previous error.
· Displayed information is as follows:
· type = error occurrence line number
· ercd = error code
· inf = program with error information
· ERROR-TIME = Date and time of error occurrence
· Error history can be deleted using "4. Backup variable initialization".
· Press the ON/OFF button on the remote control to complete the procedure.
