WALL-MOUNTING:

1) There is an insert on the back of your Microburst speaker which will allow it to attach

to a standard (1/4” shaft) pivoting wall mount bracket. Contact your dealer for further

details.   Follow the bracket manufacturer’s mounting instructions.

2) A flush, wall mounting option is also available using the keyhole on the back of the

speaker.  The instructions below are written for rooms of standard construction, which

include most residential and business office environments.  Such environments are

typically constructed with wooden studs behind the walls that will securely accept the

enclosed screws.  If you cannot or do not want to mount into a stud, use the enclosed

wall anchors or consult with your local hardware store for your best mounting options.

Tools Required:

#2 Philips head screwdriver bit or hand screwdriver

Drill (electric or cordless)

1/8" bit (or 1/4” if not mounting into a stud)

Stud Finder

INSTRUCTIONS:

1)  Determine where you want to mount your speaker and then, using the stud

finder, find the closest stud.  If this location is not acceptable you will need to use

the enclosed wall anchors to mount the speaker where there is no stud.

2)  Mark a spot on the wall at the desired mounting location.

3)  If mounting into a stud:  Drill a 2" deep pilot hole with an 1/8” bit at the marked spot.

Screw the mounting screw into the hole.

4)  If not mounting into a stud:  Drill a 2” deep pilot hole with a 1/4” bit at the marked

spot.  Insert a wall anchor into the hole until it is flush with the wall (this may require

gently tapping it with a hammer), then screw the mounting screw directly into it.

5)  Be sure the screw is inserted straight (perpendicular with wall and parallel with

floor). Leave the screw sticking out from the wall ~3/8”.

6)  Hang the speaker on the screw head.

That’s it. Enjoy!
