Gain Control
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Connect your antenna's cable to the input jack of the amplifier, then connect
the amplifier's built-in cable to the antenna port on your TV or converter box.
- Connect the power according to the diagram above. You can use the included
wall adapter, or just use the USB cable on a USB port on your TV to power
your amplifier.
Find a convenient outdoor location to mount your antenna, then scan for channels.
Note: Before final mounting, first test your selected antenna location by scanning for
channels. In some instances, you may decide to relocate the antenna for better
reception.
If you are about 25-35 miles away from the tower, we recommend to connect antenna
without
amplifier.
If you are about 35-50 miles away from the tower, we recommend to connect antenna
with
amplifier.
Note: Please do remember to connect the power adapter to amplifier no matter the
Gain control is at the Max or Min position, otherwise the antenna won't work properly.
You can now pinpoint the exact amount of gain you want to use, in order to
get the best possible signal to your TV.
If you are closer to your broadcast towers, then you are going to want to use
less gain. If you are far away from your broadcast towers, you will want to
use more gain.
