SRO Wireless Siren Strobe
The SRO is a FastLink technology wireless indoor/outdoor siren strobe, designed for the
FORCE
Series
intruder alarm systems.
The FastLink communication is encrypted using true, 128-bit AES encryption for a high level of security. Using the SRO requires the
installation of a wireless receiver.
The SRO has a modern design. It is battery operated, and its enclosure is made of qualified ABS material.
The SRO alerts on low battery state, and has a tamper. The siren transmits a test event every 15 min.
For enrollment information, see the
FORCE
’s Installation guide (P/N 4410457).
Cautions: the SRO is based on wireless (RF) transmissions. Any wireless transmission can be
subject to RF interference and, although unlikely, this interference may cause the SRO to not
operate as intended. RF transmissions will be attenuated by tinted glass, in wall isolation with
metal foils, metal objects, etc.

Mounting guidelines
Mount the siren onto a flat vertical surface, such as the outside of a building, with its red reflector facing downwards. A wide variety
of mounting surfaces are acceptable, but the mounting material must be able to support the weight of the siren.
The siren should not be shielded by any metal which could block radio communication.
Keep the wall tamper switch closed when mounting the siren.
