This guide
How to install the GSV512
Disconnect the control panel from AC power and remove the batteries before installing the GSV512.
Follow the next steps to install the add-on.
1.
Make sure the
VISION
is located away from other transmitting devices, or near large metal objects.
2.
Carefully pull out the SIM card tray (no. 3 in the above figure) from the socket, by gently pressing the eject bar (no. 7 in the figure).
3.
Align
(U)SIM1 (Main) card into slot 8, and (U)SIM2 (Backup) card into slot 9, with the metal contacts facing downwards and the
angled corner of the card positioned correctly, and carefully insert the tray into place.
4.
Connect the antenna to its connector (no. 10 in the figure).
5.
Connect the add-on’s circuit board connector (no. 12 in the figure) to its socket on the control panel’s circuit board.
6.
Connect the control panel to power and insert the batteries. Observe polarity!
7.
Use an LCD keypad (not supplied) and set the add-on; see how in the Installation guide.
8.
Test the add-on using the
Test and Diagnostics menu.
