FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Note:

This product can be used with any

type of bedding including waterproof bed
protectors. Use only as an under blanket and
do not use above the occupant of the bed.

Your fitted electric blanket will have an elastic
skirt sewn into the blanket.
1.  Place the electric blanket on the bed with

the controller at the pillow end with the
connector facing upwards.

2.  Smooth out the folds and wrinkles of the

blanket. Then secure the elastic skirt over
each of the bed’s four corners.

3.  Once the blanket is secure check for

any kinks in the power cord or heating
elements and smooth them out.

WARNING!

When you position the cable, make

sure it DOES NOT become trapped or kinked
by any other objects or furniture during use and
storage. Poor positioning of the power cable
may result in injury and/or damage to the user
and their property.

CAUTION!

Ensure the blanket is not folded or

creased.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE

•  Ensure the blanket is fitted to the bed

correctly, see diagram opposite

•  Plug the power lead into the closest

socket. Ensure that the lead is not
stretched. DO NOT use an extension cord
with this appliance.

Preheating The Bed

•  Move the heat setting on the control

switch to heat level 2 or 3, depending on
the level of the heat required.

•  Allow approximately 60-90 minutes

for the blanket to heat the bed
thoroughly,although this time may vary
depending on the room temperature and
type of bedding used.

•  In cold weather, all electric blankets

will take longer to heat the bed to a
comfortable temperature. Please allow
for this.

All Night Use

Note:

Blankets are safe to be used all night.

However we recommend using the heat setting
below.
•  Move the heat setting on the control

switch to heat level 1. This setting will
provide safe and comfortable heat to
sleep on all night. This setting can be
used to air the bed.

WARNING:

Always ensure that the slider switch

is moved to the OFF position when you get up
the next day, or after airing the bed.
