The toaster may emit a slight odour on the first use, this is normal and will not

occur after several times use. Before toasting the first slice of bread it is strongly

suggested to operate the appliance following below instructions, except without

bread. Unwind the power cord and plug it into the power outlet.

First use

1.  Remove all packaging and protective wrapping prior to toasting.
2.  Place one or two slices of bread into the bread slots. This toaster is design for

regular slice bread.

Note:

Make sure the crumb tray is completely positioned in place before using.

3.  Plug the power cord into the outlet.
4.  Set browning control to your desired setting. There is 6-position level, 1 is the

lightest and 6 the darkest. We recommend starting with setting “3”.

Note:

•  If toasted continuously, toasting colour for the latter bread is darker than

the colour of previous cycle at the same level.

•  The colour setting should be adjusted before toasting. It should not be

adjusted during toasting.

5.  Press carriage handle down vertically until it is locked in place. Once the

bread has been toasted to the pre-set setting, the carriage handle will be
automatically spring up, and you can remove the toast.

Note:

The carriage handle can only lock when the toaster is connected to the

power supply.

6.  During the toasted process, you may see that the toast has already browned to

your desired colour. To stop further toasting turn the browning control to the
left to the CANCEL the position. The next time you use it,you need to adjust
the browning control back to your setting.

Caution

If toaster starts to smoke, turn the knob to the left to stop baking.

•  Avoid toasting the food with extremely runny ingredients such as butter.
•  Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without unplugging the

toaster from the electrical outlet first. Be sure not to damage the internal

mechanism or heating elements when removing bread.
