Installation

The 

C860

bi-directional combiner consists of two rows of directional couplers combined by a hybrid splitter. The directional coupler com-

bining provides high isolation (>40 dB) between the inputs. Normally, the odd channels are combined on one row while even channels
are combined on the other row of directional couplers for maximum (>50 dB) isolation. The output of the 

C860

may be connected to the

input of the 

CA-30/1000

or 

CA-30RK1000

. The output of the amplifier is connected to the main distribution line. It can also be used with

the 

PIDA-550

,

PIDA-1000

or 

L860

when bi-directional capability is required.
