Setup for Keypad Operation
The keypad operation can be configured to suit different group of user.
The setup for keyboard can be found under Microsoft Windows XP or Vista’s control panel menu,
under Start>> Control panel >> Keyboard.
Keyboard Properties (Speed)
Recommended user settings
Repeat delay
set to “
Long
”
Repeat rate
set to “
Slow
”
The recommended setting is suitable for the
elderly, young children or computer illiterate
user. They have a tendency to hold onto the
key, looking out for visual or audio feedback
before releasing it. Their slow reaction in
releasing the key might be misinterpret by the
computer program and therefore causing
undesirable result. Visual and audio feedback
is recommended for this group of user.
Settings Definition
Repeat delay- configure the delay time before
the key starts to repeat itself, when the user
press and hold onto the key.
Repeat rate- configure the delay time between
repeating key, when the user press and hold
onto the key.

Under this tab, you will be able to see the
keypad device once it is plugged into the
computer.

If this keypad device is not listed or is having
problem, try to unplug and plug in again. Take
note that external power may be required
when the keypad is plugged to a USB hub.
