Q1: When setting the DIP switch positions on the CPE, does the CPE need to be
turned off?
A1: The CPE needs to be turned off for the DIP switch positions to be active when
changed.
Q1: How does the CPE get its power?
A1: The CPE gets its power through the supplied power adapter via Cat5e / 6 / 6a
(PoE).
Q1: How long can the Cat5e / 6 / 6a cable be?
A1: For the supplied 24V power supply, we recommend the length no exceed 40
meters or 131 feet.
Q1: Should the distance be set the same for both the transmitter and receiver?
A1: The same distance should be set in the web interface for both the transmitting
and receiving side. If not, it will lead to high latency, and a low bandwidth connec-
tion.
Q1: What the is minimum distance required between the transmitter and receiver?
A1: The distance between the transmitter and receiver should be more than 2
meters.
Q1: Should the SSIDs of different AP groups be different?
A1: The SSIDs should be different for separate AP groups, otherwise there may be
interference.
Q1: Does the CPE include lightning protection?
A1: No. Is is recommended to install a lightning conductor to avoid burning out the
link port.
