Wash 99 space requirements
2. Suitable location
When choosing a suitable location for your Photocentric Wash 99,
allow plenty of space (see Figure 3). Choose a flat stable location and
leave extra space over the unit to allow removing and replacing the lid.
All diagrams have dimensions in millimetres unless otherwise stated.
Consider the ergonomics of operating the wash unit.
Choose a location with operating temperature between 18-28°C.
Daylight resins are highly sensitive and will cure in ambient white light.
Operate your Wash99 in a low-light environment. Always avoid direct
sunlight. Red lighting can be used as it does not interact with the resin.
If necessary, make it possible to reduce the lighting level when handling
unwashed platform and parts.
Always use Photocentric Wash 99 in a well ventilated area

3. Unboxing & Placing Wash 99
Remove the top and sides of the crate
panels. Photocentric Wash99
weighs 60 kg. You can carefully slide the unit out on its casters. Or two
people can lift the unit and place it in the desired location. Use safety
gloves with a secure grip surface to prevent slipping. Ensure everybody
involved is comfortable lifting the weight. Follow safe lifting practice.
Once satisifed with the location, engage the brakes on the castors to
ensure stability of the unit while operating.
4. Power requirements
• Photocentric Wash 99 requires a mains power supply with a voltage
of 110 VAC or 240 VAC (depending on the unit) and a frequency of
60 Hz and 50 Hz respectively. It has a power consumption of 1500
W.
• It will draw a current of 5 A when connected to a 240 VAC supply, or
10 A when connected to a 110 VAC supply.
• Only connect Photocentric Wash 99 to the mains socket using the
power cable supplied.
• Always plug the power cable into the mains socket and the wash
unit before switching on the power at the mains socket.
• Similarly, always switch off the power at the mains socket before
unplugging the power cable from either the wash unit or the mains
socket.
