2. Suitable location 

When choosing a suitable location for your Photocentric Wash 99, 

allow plenty of space (see Figure 3). Choose a flat stable location and 
leave extra space over the unit to allow removing and replacing the lid. 
All  diagrams  have  dimensions  in  millimetres  unless  otherwise  stated. 
Consider the ergonomics of operating the wash unit.
Choose  a  location  with  operating  temperature  between  18-28°C. 
Daylight resins are highly sensitive and will cure in ambient white light. 
Operate your Wash99 in a low-light environment. Always avoid direct 
sunlight. Red lighting can be used as it does not interact with the resin. 

If necessary, make it possible to reduce the lighting level when handling 

unwashed platform and parts.

Always use Photocentric Wash 99 in a well ventilated area

3. Unboxing & Placing Wash 99 

Remove the top and sides of the crate 

panels.  Photocentric  Wash99 

weighs 60 kg. You can carefully slide the unit out on its casters. Or two 
people can lift the unit and place it in the desired location. Use safety 
gloves with a secure grip surface to prevent slipping.  Ensure everybody 
involved is comfortable lifting the weight.  Follow safe lifting practice.  

Once satisifed with the location, engage the brakes on the castors to 

ensure stability of the unit while operating. 

4. Power requirements

•  Photocentric Wash 99 requires a mains power supply with a voltage 

of 110 VAC  or 240 VAC (depending on the unit) and a frequency of 

60 Hz and  50 Hz respectively.  It has a power consumption of 1500 
W. 

•  It will draw a current of 5 A when connected to a 240 VAC supply, or 

10 A when connected to a 110 VAC supply.  

•  Only connect Photocentric Wash 99 to the mains socket using the 

power cable supplied.

•  Always plug the power cable into the mains socket and the wash 

unit before switching on the power at the mains socket. 

•  Similarly, always switch off the power at the mains socket before 

unplugging the power cable from either the wash unit or the mains 

socket.
