1. Set the hearing instrument’s program selector switch to O (OFF position).
2. Open the battery compartment and remove the old battery.
3. Remove the protective foil from the new battery.
4. Insert the new battery (type 13) with the + sign (flat side of the battery) in line
with the + mark on the battery compartment.
5. Close the battery drawer.
Important:
Handle the battery drawer gently – operation requires only a minimal
amount of force. If there is any resistance when closing the battery drawer, ensure that
the battery is correctly inserted. The drawer will not close if the battery is upside down.
Low battery warning:
An acoustic signal (3 tones) gives you an early warning that the
battery is approaching exhaustion.
