Network Key-Up is determined by the total number of fiber optic
modules connected in a continuous bus or ring network configuration,
and is given above as the first number at the top of each column.
The second pair of numbers at the top of each column gives the
maximum distance a DH+ or RIO network may travel, in both miles
and kilometers, assuming older revision Rockwell/Allen-Bradley
products (PLC-2, PLC-3, etc.). For Rockwell DH+ or RIO networks
using newer revision products such as PLC 5 or SLC processors, this
maximum distance may exceed 10 miles (16 kilometers). Consult
the factory for more information.
