IO-Link test event generator
Use the “Test Event Generator” function to send messages to an IOL MA8 PN DI8 port. The
generated events are displayed in the “IO-Link Settings” page under the “Last Events” field
and the syslog file. This can test a port to verify that it is functioning correctly.

Error: generates Error in the event.
Instance
This is the level in which the event is generated. This is not displayed in the
generated event.
