If the C

the current tape position will be briefly displayed on the screen.
There are three different types of display available.

This is normal, and is necessary for technical
reasons.

This may happen, for example, when you insert an
incompletely-rewound cassette into the video
recorder and rewind it to the start of the tape.
Since the display is automatically reset to
00:00:00
when you insert a cassette, the
actual start of the cassette for the set is less than
zero - thus in the negative range.The tape position
is displayed with a minus sign

The set needs a little time to calculate the remaining
playing time.After a few seconds, the display should
change from --:--:-- to the corresponding value

The display shows the number of
minutes of tape already played after
insertion of the cassette
(hours/minutes/seconds)
TIME LEFT
: The display shows the remaining
playing time to the end of the
cassette (hours/minutes/seconds)
TIME USED
: The actual tape position (from the
start of the tape to the present tape
position) will be displayed.
