the transmitting power (including equipping the additional
radiofrequency power amplifier) without authorization; do
not use external antenna or other transmitting antennas.
2.9 Equipment
To avoid conflict of electromagnetic interference/ compatibil-
ity, if you receive an announcement of requiring you to turn
off the intercom somewhere, please observe. The instru-
ments used in hospital or medical location are very sensitive
to radiofrequency signals from external radio, please turn off
the intercom.
It is prohibited to use on the airport or an aircraft.
2.10 Medical equipment
Cardiac pacemaker
It is suggested that the minimum distance between the
intercom and the cardiac pacemaker is 15cm.
Persons with cardiac pacemaker shall follow the following
rules:
• When the intercom is turned on, it shall be always kept at
least 15cm away from cardiac pacemaker.
• Do not put the intercom in your breast pocket.
• To reduce potential interference, please use earphones.
• If you suspect that there is interference between the
intercom and the cardiac pacemaker, turn off the intercom
immediately.
2.11 Hearing-aid
The intercom may interfere some hearing-aids. Under this
condition, you may negotiate a substitute with your hearing-
aid manufacturer.
2.12 Other medical equipment
If you are using other personal medical services, please
consult with the manufacturer to determine whether it has
adequate radiofrequency shielding. Your doctor can help you
get such information.
2.13 Safe driving
Review and follow the local laws and regulations of where
you drive for using intercom.
In case of using intercom when driving, please follow the
following rules:
• Concentrate on driving and pay attention to the traffic
condition.
