Introduction new loader
During production the DVD loader of the TDVD1.1E has been
changed. Below the history of the DVD loaders in the
TDVD1.1E is given.
Via the service menu can been seen which DVD loader is used:
1.
Enter the service menu
2.
Select DVD
3.
Open the DVD service menu
4.
At the first line, the IC type, date and 1 character is visisble.
–
The character can be D or C.
–
D means DVS loader and C means CASON loader.
Production code VEC0 and DC1A:
The production started with production code VEC0. This is
changed around mid 2003 into DC1A (new production code
system).
The first DVD loader used in production is the DSL760 2CH
(3990 000 02201).
During production this DVD loader has been changed into the
DSL760 new 1CH (3990 000 02261) and after that in the
DSL760 new 2 2CH (3990 000 02311). These first 3 DVD types
are compatible and have only small improvements.
Production code DC1B
The DVD loader DSL810 (3990 000 02211) is introduced with
production code DC1B in the TDVD1.1E.
Together with this DVD loader the following components on the
chassis have been changed:

Position TP10, RP48, RP49 and RP50 deleted
•
Position DP23 added (1N4007; 0483 214 23201)
•
Position RV49 added (470 Ohm; 0300 106 47161)
•
Position RV54 added (100 Ohm; 0300 106 10161
•
Position RV55 added (0 Ohm; 0300 106 00061)
•
Position RV56 added (330 Ohm; 0300 106 33161)
•
Position RV57 added (10k; 0300 106 10361)
•
Position R062 added (2k2; 0300 116 22261)
•
Position R071 added (2k2; 0300 116 22261)
•
Position R082 added (10k; 0300 106 10361)
•
Position R083 added (10k; 0300 106 10361)
•
Position R084 added (10k; 0300 106 10361)
•
Position TV04 added (BC547B; 0462 460 22281)

In this service manual the new schematic of the power supply
and the new print layout of the main board is published.
Production code DC1C
The DVD loader CASON (8411 300 10084) is introduced with
production code DC1C in the TDVD1.1E.
Together with this DVD loader the components on the chassis
have been changed back to the situation of DC1A (no
difference between DSL760 and CASON on the mainboard)
and the DVD control and Data connector
(SS08) is rotated 180 degrees (see picture).
Production code DC1D
The DVD loader CASON new (8411 300 11061) is introduced
with production code DC1D in the TDVD1.1E. This DVD loader
is indicated with a "Y" and on the metal shield
"MTK1379Y17.10.2003 C" (West Europe) and
"MTK1379Y17.10.2003EC" (East Europe) is written. This is
also mentioned in the service menu of the DVD loader.

Introduction of new picture tube (NR37SX110Y22-DC05)
During production an alternative Picture tube
(NR37SX110Y22-DC05) is introduced in the TDVD1.1E sets.
When the Picture tube NR37SX110Y22-DC05 (0703 621
12321) is present in the sets in stead of the A33EKC02X01
(0703 621 10151) also the following components are different:

Position FBT1 changed into LOT (6042 000 00421)
•
Position CD03 changed into 470pF 2kV 5% (0400 401
74711)
•
Position CD04 changed into 8.2nF 1.6kV 2.5% (6193 237
78221)
•
Position CD15 changed into 330nF 250V (6210 030

The Picture Tube Panel is changed from 8411 400 10395 into
8411 400 11005
In this service manual the schematic and print layout of the new
Picture Tube Panel is published.
