Switching on the battery saver
Use the battery saver if you want to use the handset away from the
base station or charger for a long period of time (up to a week).
Press the
o
key for 5 seconds.
Your handset will beep and switch to battery saver mode.
On the 6820
, press the
a
key for more than 1 second.
Note:
In battery saver mode the handset will not ring. However, if
someone calls, the base station will ring.
Switching off the battery saver

The battery saver will switch off as soon as you press a key.
•
If you want to answer a call with a handset in battery saver
mode, simply press the
t
key for one second and wait a few
seconds to be connected.
•
The battery saver mode will also switch off if you place your
handset on the base station or charger. The handset will start
to recharge if necessary.
