Warning:
• Use to char g e AA (1.2V, 2500 m Ah, Ni-MH/Ni-Cd) a n d AAA (1.2V 1000 m Ah, Ni-MH/
Ni-Cd) rechar g eable batteries o n ly. Do n ot char g e Alkali n e, Zi n c Carbo n , Lithi um or
a n y other type of battery n ot specified o n the char g er. Other types of batteries m i g ht
b u rst or leak ca u si ng perso n al i n j u ry.
• For proper battery i n sertio n , please observe pole i n dicatio n s (+/-). See fig. A.
• Do n ot dispose of i n fire, short circ u it or ope n .
• Char g e n ew batteries before u si ng .
• Never alter the pl ug .

Ge n eral chargi n g guideli n es
• At the sa m e ti m e yo u ca n char g e two or fo u r AA or AAA batteries or two AA a n d
two AAA batteries.
• For lo ng battery life, o n ly char g e e m pty batteries.
• Whe n char g i ng , a m bie n t te m perat u re sho u ld be betwee n 0°C a n d 40°C (32°F a n d
104°F).
• Make s u re batteries i n each pair of slots (1/2 a n d/or 3/4) are ide n tical (sa m e capacity,
a n d size).
Note: it is normal for the unit and the batteries to become warm while charging.

the m i n to the sa m e pair of battery slots (1/2 or 3/4).
2 Pl ug the char g er i n to a wall o u tlet. See fig. B.
> The red charge LED(s) will illuminate, indicating that charging is in progress.
The LED(s) will remain lit until charging is stopped manually.
3 Whe n fi n ished, un pl ug the char g er fro m the power so u rce a n d re m ove the batteries.
