How to Do a Range Check
If the Remote Control and the Extender are too far apart, the signal will be out of range.
You can do a range check on the Remote Control.

If no Extender is defined in the Configuration Program, the Range Check Extenders option
will not be presented in the Service Menu.

How to Avoid Interference from Other Remote Controls
If the
busy LED
on the Extender is blinking without the Remote Control sending commands,
the Extender picks up signals from another Remote Control on the same channel. You can
solve this problem by changing the channel.
You configure the channel in the
Link Extenders to components
step of the New Project
Wizard and on the Extender. All Remote Controls and RF Extenders need to be defined on
the same channel. Three channels (from 1 to 3) can be assigned.
