2 Make sure the product is switched off.
Slide the eyebrow comb onto the
trimming head (Fig. 9). The short eyebrow
comb trims the hairs to a length of 1/8
in,
3
mm. The long eyebrow comb trims the
hairs to a length of 13/64
in, 5
mm.
Note: Make sure the comb slides into the
grooves on both sides of the trimmer.
3 Switch on the product.
4 Move the comb over the eyebrow from
the outer tip of the eyebrow towards the
base of the nose (against the direction of
hair growth) (Fig. 10).
5 Clean thoroughly after each use (see
'Cleaning').
Trimming ear hair
Make sure your outer ear channels are
clean and free from wax.
Note: Remove eyebrow combs before
trimming nose or ear hair. (Fig. 11)
1 Switch on the product.
2 Slowly move the trimming head along
the rim of the ear to remove hairs that
stick out beyond the rim.
Do not insert the trimming head more than
13/64
in, 5
mm into your ear channel, as this
could damage the eardrum.
1 Carefully insert the trimming head into
the outer ear channel.
2 Slowly turn the trimming head around to
remove all unwanted hairs from your
outer ear channel (Fig. 12).
Tip: The rotary trimmer can also be used
to trim hairs in the outer ear channel.
3 Clean thoroughly after each use (see
'Cleaning').
Trimming nose hair
Make sure both the product and nasal
passages are clean before trimming. Dried
nasal mucus can block the cutting element,
preventing the product from turning on.
Note: Remove eyebrow combs before
trimming nose or ear hair. (Fig. 11)
1 Switch on the product.
2 Slowly move the trimming head along
the rim of the nostril to remove hairs that
stick out beyond the rim.
3 Carefully insert the trimming head into
one of your nostrils.
Do not insert the trimming head more
than 13/64
in, 5
mm into your nostrils.
4 Slowly move the trimming head around
inside each nostril, making sure the side
of the trimmer is held firmly against the
skin (Fig. 13). This will reduce the tickling
effect that can occur.
Tip: The rotary trimmer attachment can
also be used to trim hairs in the nostrils.
5 Clean thoroughly after each use (see
'Cleaning').
Using the detailer
Use the detailer to shape and maintain your
beard, sideburns and neck hair.
1 Attach the detailer to the handle.
2 Switch on the product.
3 Hold the product at a 45 degree angle to
your skin and apply gentle pressure.
4 Use slow upward and downward strokes
to remove unwanted hairs. To trim most
effectively, move the product against the
direction of hair growth.
Tip: Make smooth and gentle movements
and make sure the surface of the detailer
always stays in contact with the skin.
