Multi-channel SACD is a new generation music format
that offers ultra high quality music reproduction. With a
5.1 multi-channel surround sound and full CD
compatibility both forward and backward, what results
is unsurpassed audio performance for your listening
pleasure.
Neodymium Ribbon Tweeters
Enjoy unparalleled, natural and crystal-clear sound
quality with Omni-directional Neodymium Ribbon
Tweeter. Dipoles that radiate high frequency sounds in
a full 360-degree pattern results in a very 'open' wide
sound spectrum that delivers crisp clarity and high-
pitched detail in the higher tones. This further enhances
the surround experience in a multi-channel system and
is especially noticed when listening to Super Audio CD
sound where the clarity in music is excellent.
Wireless rear speakers
Wireless rear speakers give you scalability and mobility
in speaker placement. Developed using interference-
free technology, wireless speakers provide full surround
sound without unsightly wire connections.
CD Upsampling
CD Upsampling is an advanced sound processing
technology that intelligently upgrades the audio of
standard CDs by increasing time resolution and
sampling rate for an improved audio experience.
PAL & NTSC Progressive Scan
Progressive Scan doubles the vertical resolution of the
image resulting in a noticeably sharper picture. Instead
of sending fields with the odd lines to the screen first,
followed by the fields with the even lines, both fields are
written at one time. A flicker-free high resolution image
is created giving you the best viewing experience.
Video Upsampling
Video Upsampling is a technology that decreases
distortion to dramatically improve picture quality.
Increasing the video processing to 54MHz or even
108MHz, is in effect converting the video to 8:8:8*
(54MHz) or 16:16:16 (108MHz) format which has
about 4 to 8 time more horizontal resolution bandwidth
than in standard DVD format. This processing reduces
the MPEG "mosquito net" distortion dramatically
resulting in picture quality that is pure and distortion
free.

Multi-format playability allows you to play most disc
formats for maximum disc compatibility and viewing
pleasure.

Picture CD with MP3 Playback
Picture CD is a CD-R or CD-RW disc on which you can
store your MP3 and digital pictures. When inserting a
Picture CD in the DVD player, a screen menu will pop
up, showing your JPEG's and/or MP3 files on the disc.
Just select the music and pictures files you wish to enjoy
and press play or OK. You can watch your pictures on
TV with your music playing simultaneously.
