Installing the latest software
Periodically Philips will issue software
upgrades to enhance the user experience.
A
Get the software version of this unit by
pressing
OPEN/CLOSE
ç
to open the
disc compartment
B
Press
DISPLAY
on the remote control.
Write down the information for your
current software version.

Visit the Philips website
‘www.philips.com/support’ to check the
availability of the latest software upgrade
and download the software to a CD-R.

Insert the CD-R to the disc tray.
The software starts to install on this
unit automatically.
Note:
Never unplug or turn off this unit
during the upgrade.

When the disc compartment opens,
remove the CD-R.
The software upgrading is in process.
F
Once complete, it turns off to standby
mode automatically.
Setting the Sleep timer
The sleep timer enables this unit to
switch to standby mode automatically at a
preset time.
Press
SLEEP
on the remote control
repeatedly to select a preset switch-off
time. (15, 30, 45, 60 minutes or OFF).
Before this unit switches to the
standby mode, a countdown of 60
seconds is displayed.

Other Features
To cancel the sleep timer
Press
SLEEP
repeatedly to select ‘OFF’
or press the

(STANDBY-ON)
button.
Using the wireless module
A
The wireless transmitter is connected to
the
WIRELESS TRANSMITTER
socket at the rear of the main unit.

Connect the rear speakers to the
matching speaker sockets at the bottom
of the wireless receiver.
C
Connect the power cable from the
wireless receiver to the AC power
outlet.
D
Turn on the main unit.
The wireless indicator on the wireless
transmitter and receiver light up.

Helpful Hint:
– For optimum wireless reception, ensure
the transmitter and receiver are not
obstructed by any objects.
