
How to change the clock

Timer
• Using the timer, you can program the Air Cleaner:
You can set the exact moments when the appliance will
switch the appliance on and off (for one period daily).
Also you can determine the speed setting to be used or the
“Auto” function.
For example, the timer can be helpful if you use the
appliance daily at the same hours, or if you wish to come
home and find the air cleaned before your arrival.
• You can program the Air Cleaner in the “Auto” function or in
a speed you select.
• To be able to use the timer it is necessary that the correct
time of day is displayed.
• When the timer has been set the Air Cleaner will be in stand
by position.
To override this press the on/off button again.
How to set/change the timer setting
- Switch the appliance on (fig. 25).
- Ensure that the correct time of day is displayed.
(See “How to set the clock”.)
- Press the “time setting” button (M) twice (fig. 26).
The “ON” symbol comes on and the display shows

or
the previously set operating time.
- Press button

to set the switch-on time

- Press the “time setting” button (M) (fig. 28).
The “OFF” symbol comes on. (The switch-on time is
displayed.)
- Select the required speed or select the “Auto” function.
- Press button

to set the switch-off time

- Press the “time setting” button (M) again (fig. 30).
The program is now saved in the memory.
The “OFF” symbol disappears and the timer symbol

comes on.
The display lighting goes out.
The indication light above the on/off button will remain on,
however, to indicate that the appliance will switch the
appliance on automatically at the programmed time.
In the display the clock time and the timer symbol
Ò
will
remain visible.
This is the “stand by” mode.
Please note: If the timer symbol
Ò
has started flashing and/or
has disappeared while setting the timer, this denotes that the
setting was not successful.
If this happens, try again to set the timer.
