Removal and Replacement

Secondary Method

a.

Connect clip leads to each end of one of the Disarm Resistors.

b.

Connect the clip leads directly to the spade terminals on the Power 
PCA where the Defibrillator Capacitor is connected.  Maintain this 
connection for at least 5 seconds.

c.

Repeat steps a and b using the other Disarm Resistor.   

The defibrilla-

tor capacitor is now discharged, even if one of the resistors is dam-
aged.
