Connect one of the DVD Player’s DIGITAL AUDIO OUT
jacks (COAXIAL or OPTICAL) to the corresponding
DIGITAL AUDIO IN jack on your Stereo. 
You only need
one connection. Use a digital audio cable (not supplied).

Connect the supplied S-Video cable to the S-VIDEO OUT
jack of the DVD Player and to the TV’s S-VIDEO IN jack.
Or, use the CVBS VIDEO OUT jack or Component VIDEO OUT
jacks. Details are on pages 10 and 12. You only need one video
connection.

Connect the flat end of the DVD Player’s power cord
(supplied) to the MAINS (AC Power) jack on the back of
the DVD Player. 
Connect the power cords of the DVD Player, TV, and
Stereo Receiver to the power outlet. Turn on the power
of the TV and the Stereo Receiver. Press STANDBY-ON
on the front of the DVD Player to turn on the DVD
Player. 
The Standby light will disappear.

Set the TV to the correct Video In channel. 

Refer to your

TV manual. Or, change TV channels until you see the DVD
logo on the TV.
Set your Stereo Receiver to the correct Audio In channel
or sound source. 
Refer to the Stereo’s manual.

Set the DVD Player’s digital output. Details are on page 47.

does not match your Stereo’s
capabilities, the Stereo may pro-
duce a strong, distorted sound or
no sound at all.
