Qdeo™ video processing
Qdeo™ is a range of video processing
technologies that produces quiet and natural
video. Most types of video have noise and
artifacts that are very distracting when viewed
on a high definition TV. Qdeo™ processing
produces an image that has reduced noise,
enhanced colour, improved contrast, fine
detail and an enhanced sense of depth,
resulting in a quiet, pleasing and immersive
viewing experience. Furthermore, Qdeo™
works with all kinds of video sources, including
Blu-ray, DVD and even low quality Internet
video.
Subtitle Shift
Subtitle Shift is an enhancement feature that
lets users manually adjust a movie's subtitle
positioning on the television or computer
screen. Using the remote control, users can
shift the subtitles up and down on the screen.
On widescreen displays, such as 21:9 cinema
and projectors, the subtitles sometimes get cut
off. In order to see them clearly, the user has
to change the display aspect ratio, which
defeats the purpose of the widescreen. With
the Subtitle Shift feature, the user can retain
the correct display aspect ratio and have the
subtitles ideally positioned on the screen.
DivX Ultra Certified
With DivX support, you can enjoy DivX
encoded videos in the comfort of your living
room. The DivX media format is an MPEG4-
based video compression technology that
enables you to save large files such as movies,
trailers and music videos on media, e.g. CD-R/
RW and DVD recordable discs. DivX Ultra
merges DivX playback with great features
including integrated subtitles, multiple audio
languages, multiple tracks and menus into one
convenient file format.
