Switching on FM radio

to power on the set.

to select FM mode if "FM" is

not displayed.

Tuning to radio stations

In FM mode, press 

SCAN

until frequency

number starts running.

The radio will auto tune to a station of
strong signal strength, and search will
stop.

To tune to a weak station, press

an optimum reception is found.

Repeat the steps above until you find the
desired station.

Helpful hints:

Storing FM presets

You can store up to 10 FM stations on the 10
preset buttons each for easy access.

In FM mode, tune to your desired radio sta-
tion (Refer to "Tuning to radio stations").

Press and hold one of the 

preset buttons

(1-5)

on the top of the set to store the pre-

set.

"

Station Saved

" is displayed briefly on

the second line of the display, and the
stored preset number is displayed 
(see

).

To save on 

presets 6-10

, first press 

SHIFT

then press and hold the desired preset but-
ton for 2 seconds.

Helpful hints:

If you have already saved a FM station in that
preset location, it will be overwritten by a
new station.

When you store FM stations, these do not
overwrite your FM presets.

Selecting a preset FM station

In FM mode, press a preset button on the
top of the set to select presets

To select one of presets

FM Radio

Sleep 

The DAB radio has a built-in sleep timer,
which enables the set to be automatically
switched off during radio playback after a set
period of time.

Safety & maintenance informa-
tion

Place the set on a flat, hard and stable surface
so that the system does not tilt.

Do not expose the set, batteries, CDs to
humidity, rain, sand or excessive heat caused
by heating equipment or direct sunlight.

The apparatus shall not be exposed to drip-
ping or splashing.

Adequate ventilation with a minimum gap of
15cm (6 inches) between the ventilation
holes and surrounding surfaces is necessary
to prevent heat build-up.

Do not cover the ventilation openings with
items such as newspapers, table-cloths, cur-
tains, etc.

No objects filled with liquids, such as vases,
shall be placed on the apparatus.

No naked flame sources, such as lighted can-
dles, should be placed on the apparatus.

The mechanical parts of the set contain self-
lubricating bearings and must not be oiled or
lubricated.

To clean the set, use a dry cloth. Do not use
any cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammo-
nia, benzene or abrasives as these may harm
the housing.
