Using the Teletext (for areas where teletext service is available)
Teletext is an information system broadcast by certain TV channels.
It can be consulted in the same way as a newspaper. It also provides
subtitles for the hard of hearing or people who are unfamiliar with the
broadcast language (cable TV network, satellite channels, etc.).

On/Off Teletext
Display or exit Teletext. The main
index page presents a list of
subjects to which you haveaccess.
Each subject has a corresponding
page number (always 3 digits).
Note: If selected TV channel does
not broadcast Teletext, P100 is
displayed and the screen remains
black. Exit Teletext mode and
choose another TV channel.

Selecting a Teletext
page
Key in the required Teletext page (3
digits). The page number is
displayed in the top left
-hand corner
of the screen. When the Teletex
t
page is located, the counter stops
searching. If the counter keeps
searching, it means that the page is
not available for selection. If you
make a mistake when keying in the
page number, you have to finish
keying in the 3-digit number before
re-keying the correct page number.

Accessing a Teletext
page
Press the CURSOR UP button to
display the previous page and the
CURSOR DOWN button to display
the next page.

pages
The 4-colour buttons allow you to
access directly an item or
corresponding pages.

Mix
Allows you to superimpose the
Teletext page over the TV
programme. Press the button a
second time to return to Teletext
page only.

Enlarge
Press the button once to enlarge
and view the top half of the page.
Press the button a second time to
enlarge and view the bottom half of
the page. Press the button a third
time to return to normal size page.

Main Index
Press the button to return to the
main index (generally on page 100).
