Scaler IC maker Genesis provides GProbe application software to
upgrade firmware of flash ROM via ISP method.
1. An i486 (or above) personal computer or compatible.
2. Microsoft operation system Windows 98/2000/XP/NT.
3. A/D alignment kits(3138 106 10079) as Fig. 1
a. Alignment box x 1
b. Printer cable x 1

4. GProbe4.2.0.3.EXE application software. You can get it from
CD-ROM of service manual (3138 106 10311).
Step1: Refer to Fig. 2 to connect PC, service tools and monitor.

Step 2: Extract 200p4ISP.zip from CD-ROM of service manual (3138
106 10311) to your hard disk.
For example: To extract 200p4ISP.zip to c:\200p4ISP as Fig. 3.

Step 3: Double click GProbe4.2.0.3.EXE file and follow instructions to
install Gprobe4.2.0.3 application software. When you finish
installation, Gprobe4 icon will appear on your desktop as
Fig. 4. (If you have already installed this application software,
please skip step 3.)

Step 4: Double click Gprobe4 icon on your desktop to run Gprobe4
application software.
Step 5: Select "Options" and "Connection Setup" as Fig. 5.

Step 6: Set Protocol = DDC2Bi3, Port = LPT1(0x378), Speed = 100000
as Fig. 6.

Step 7: You can key in "test" to test whether you settings and
connections are OK or not. If it shows "Test passed" message
as Fig. 7, it means your settings and connections are OK. (
Please make sure monitor is not in sleep mode when you do
test function, i.e. LED is blue as Fig. 8.
