AUTOMATIC BOW - STERN - SWITCH OVER FOR 2 SHORE POWER CONNECTORS, MAX. 16A
PURPOSE
If there is a shore power connection for each bow and stern, a double pole switch must be used for separation of the two provided
inputs. The switch keeps the unused connectors free of potential. If no switch is used, dangerous voltage occurs because the pins at
the flange plug are connected to the AC main power voltage. The LAE 241 must not be used as a shore generator switch over!
If no switch over unit is built in, the connector pins of the unused connector unit have the AC main power voltage too!

ATTENTION
Please take care that a RCBo leakage protector has to be installed at the onboard AC - system for the protection of the whole
system. Please pay attention that all connections of the shore power unit have to be carried out with great care with the use
of pigtails.

The assembly and operating instruction is a
component of the LAE 241 package. It must be kept
(for reference). Importantly: - for later maintenance
work - and for the use of subsequent owners of the
equipment.

Both the adherence to the operating instruction, and the condi-

develop due to incorrect installation and /or inappropriate
enterprise.
