Burn Table Fireplace
Please read this instruction sheet carefully before taking the PHILIPPI table
fireside Burn into use and retain this information for further reference/usage.
ATTENTION:
- Only ignite the oil lamp if it has been placed on a fireproof base and it stands
level and secure; do not move the oil lamp after ignition.
- The fireplace may not be used for heating purposes.
- Make sure that no flammable material is found within a 80 cm radius of the
oil lamp.
- Never lay anything on top of the oil lamp.
- Do not use or store the fireplace within reach of children.
- Never leave the fireplace burning unattended.
- Please observe the general precautionary measures when dealing with open
fire.
Instruction sheet
Only use high-quality paraffin lamp oil with a flashpoint of minimum 70°C. By
no means should you use any type of fragrance oil or essences.
1. Unpack the fireplace completely.
2. Fill the oil lamp with lamp oil.
3. To fill the table fireside with lamp
oil; take out
the big wick holder in the middle with
the help of the forceps.
4. Take the funnel, slide the tube of the funnel into the opening and pour the
lamp oil into the funnel. Fill the tank with a maximum of 500 ml of oil lamp
only. Under no circumstances, may the maximum filling capacity be exceeded!
5. Then insert the wick holder with the lolling wick into the hole on the base.
Adjust the wicks, so that they poke out of the holes of the wick holders
maximum 1 mm.
Should there be any oil on the base please absorb it. Do not light the wicks
with oil on the base - fire hazard!
6. Place the stones between the wick holders. When all stones are in place,
light the wicks.
Regulating the height of the flames:
The longer the wick is, the higher the flames will burn. Should the flame be too
high, minimally push the unlit wick back into the holder.
Should the flame be too low, carefully pull the unlit wick out a bit. Please use
the forceps for this.
WARNING:
Adjust the wicks, so that they poke out of the holes of the wick
holders maximum 1 mm!
Cleaning:
The table fireplace can easily be cleaned with normal dishwashing liquid.
Attention: The table fireplace is NOT dishwasher compatible.
Interior and Exterior Use:
You can use the table fireplace both inside and outside. Please make sure that
you use a hot mat when placing the table fireplace on any furniture.
Exterior use:
Please make sure that no rainwater runs into the table fireplace.
The table fireplace will not burn, should water mix with the lamp oil.
Development of heat:
The table fireplace is made of metal that conducts heat well.
Once the table fireplace is set afire, the tank, stones and the glass can become
hot. Please be extremely cautious when touching or picking up the table
fireplace to avoid burns.
Cotton coated fibre glass wicks with a diameter of 4mm. It is only allowed to
us wicks of this kind with length shorter then 75mm.
