Securing a Child in the Restraint
Insert buckle tongues into the buckle,
when the second tongue is engaged until
you will hear a “click”.
If you do not hear a click recheck if the
tongues are secured correctly.
If the tongues do not secure correctly
see
page 43
for buckle cleaning instructions.
Make sure the shoulder straps are not
twisted. Place the shoulder pads over the
top of the child’s shoulders.
Pull the harness adjustment strap firmly
until shoulder straps are tight against the
child. The harness needs to fit the baby
firmly.
For proper tightness, one finger should fit
between the harness straps and the child’s
shoulders.
