General points

- A worn spark plug, an incorrectly fixed inter-

ference suppresser, a clogged up air filter, a poorly
adjusted carburettor are all potential sources of
problems which may lead to a significant reduction
in the life span of the catalytic converter and the
exhaust system.

- In the event of dismantling, check the tight-

ness on the cylinder end after reassembly (it is
essential to replace the seal).

- Any changes made to engine specifications

(ignition, carburation, timing, ...) is likely to lead to
the rapid destruction of the exhaust system.

Fuel / Lubricant

- Use only unleaded fuel.
- Avoid running out of fuel while driving.
- Use only the recommended lubricants
- Don´t use any additives for fuel or lubricants

Ignition

- In case of misfiring or loss of power, slow

down and stop the engine as described.
Contact your local dealer when the problems per-
sists

Stopping off the engine

- Switch off ignition only when the engine runs

at idle speed.

Starting the engine

- In case of problems when starting the en-

gine, contact your dealer to have it checked.

Using your vehicle

- Avoid driving or stationing your vehicle on

flammable underground (e.g. dry leaves).

Use

- The temperature of the exhaust system when

functioning can be as high as several hundred
degrees; hence, care must be taken to avoid con-
tact with the skin which could lead to severe
burns.

- Avoid driving and parking on or near to in-

flammable materials (eg : dry leaves, oil products,
...).
