How the System Works
Pet
Loo™ Portable Pet Toilet by PetSafe

will contain your pet’s waste in one designated area and will ensure your peace of mind on those
extended stays out of the home. Whether you live in an apartment or a house, take your dog to the office, or simply want to leave those toilet
training headaches behind, the Pet Loo™ Portable Pet Toilet is a hygienic, convenient, simple, and environmentally friendly way to allow your pet the
freedom to do his business without relying on you for an opportunity.

Loo™ Portable Pet Toilet by PetSafe
®
is a draining system for urine that resembles a patch of grass. The heavy-duty frame includes a Slanted Tray,
soak-through Synthetic Grass, and a Collection Bin. The urine seeps through the Synthetic Grass, runs down the Slanted Tray, and collects in the
removable Collection Bin. The Collection Bin slides out for easy disposal and cleaning, and solids can be easily scooped from the Synthetic Grass.
Alternate with Replacement Grass (sold separately) when cleaning and drying soiled grass.
The Pee-Pod™ Collection Tray is a degradeable container that fits neatly inside the Collection Bin of the Pet Loo™ Portable Pet Toilet. When Wee
Sponge™ Urine Absorption Powder comes into contact with liquid waste, it rapidly absorbs the urine and turns it into a solidified gel, also trapping
any airborne odours.
Prepare the Pet Toilet
The Pet Toilet comes mostly assembled. The following must be done to complete the assembly:
1. Attach the four (4) Grass Holder Clips by snapping the bottom of the clips onto the edge of the Slanted Tray. The top of the clips have a spike
that attaches onto the grass (

). Attach two clips on opposite sides as shown (
Fig. 2
).
2. The unit comes with one sample Pee-Pod™ Collection Tray and a single packet of Wee Sponge™ Urine Absorption Powder. Pour packet of
Wee Sponge™ Urine Absorption Powder into the pink Pee-Pod™ Collection Tray.
3. Tilt the Pee-Pod™ Collection Tray gently from side to side to spread the powder out in the bottom of the Pee-Pod™ Collection Tray.
4. Place the Pee-Pod™ Collection Tray into the Collection Bin of the Pet Toilet (

). The Pet Toilet is now fully assembled.
Important:
Dogs will not instinctively eliminate where they eat. Avoid placing the pet toilet where the dog is fed. The Pet Toilet is appropriate
for indoor use and seasonal outdoor use. Avoid placing the Pet Toilet in a place that is subject to extreme temperatures or prolonged exposure to
direct sunlight.
Training Your Dog to use the Pet Toilet
Dogs instinctively urinate where they smell urine. You can collect their urine and pour it on the Synthetic Grass to encourage them to use the
Pet Toilet. You can also purchase Skip to My Loo™ Attractant and Toilet Training Aid online at www.petsafe.net or by contacting the Customer
Care Centre.
• Place your dog on the Pet Toilet when it is most likely that he needs to urinate or defecate. Pets tend to need to toilet after sleeping, eating,
or playing.
• Have your dog remain on the Pet Toilet until he relieves himself. Create a command for urinating by saying the command as your dog urinates.
Then, wherever you want them to urinate, you can say the command and the dog will know what you expect of him.
• Praise and/or give your dog a treat when he uses the Pet Toilet.
• Do not allow your dog to lay or sleep on the Pet Toilet.
