Note:
If spray is escaping as you attempt to fill the device, increase the downward pressure on
the refill can to get a better seal. When completely filled, there should be enough gas in your
device for 18-23 sprays.
Inserting the battery
The battery compartment is on the same side as the fill-up valve (
N
). Remove the battery cover by
twisting it and insert the 3-volt battery (the + end first) (
O
). Twist the cover back on (a coin can be
used to help you remove and put back the cover) (

).
Note:
If the red light flickers three consecutive times, the collar battery is low and needs to be
changed.
Turning on the device
To turn on the device, press the grey button on the front of the device (
Q
).
The green light will flash once, indicating the power is on; the green light will
flicker every few seconds. Your device, already preset in short spray mode,
is now ready to function. To change to a longer spray, press the same grey
button once. The green light will flash twice to confirm the new spray setting.
To go back to the shorter spray, press the button once again. The green light
will flash once to confirm the change. You can switch spray settings at will by simply pressing the
grey button.
Turning off the device
To turn off the device, press the grey button until the red light flashes twice. The green light will no
longer flicker.
Note:
Before every use, it is best to test the device by blowing into the microphone.
Adjust the spray collar onto the dog’s neck with the on/off button facing
outward and the fill-up valve and battery cover facing downward (
R
).
Your Spray Bark Control will now react when your dog barks. Training, in
addition to the use of the device, will accelerate and consolidate the desired
behaviour modification.
